On Sunday 3rd November 2019 on the occasion of the feast of St. George “the Intoxicator” Ktima Kokotou, in Stamata, welcomes all, young and old, for a day in the country with a charity bazaar and a range of activities for everybody and all day food.
The day will start with a church service at 10.00 in the estate’s chapel which is dedicated to St George “the Intoxicator”.
Included in the day’s programme are tours of the estate visiting the vineyards, winery, olive grove, “permaculture” vegetable garden and beehives, wine tasting and a variety of activities for children. For pre-school kids 1-4 years the ”Young Vines” team with free, seasonal play for the very young with stations such as “mud kitchen”, “grocery store” and workshop to stimulate imaginary play with autumn themes such as pumpkins, autumn leaves, cobwebs and haystacks as well as creative corners with painting using edible paints and seasonal crafts with natural material. For children of all ages the “Zero to Infinity” (Miden Apeiro) team will have a workshop decorating tote bags using stamps from natural materials and colours made from spices. And outdoors, they will take children of 4+ on a treasure hunt during which they will discover all aspects of the estate meeting the animals, visiting the vegetable garden, olive grove and vineyards. For children of 4+ Ecomagination have an adventure park with bungee-trampoline, trampoline, climbing, archery and more.
At the same time, in the large marquee, there will be a charity bazaar in support of “Pediatric Trauma Care”, Pedtrauma’s sole purpose is to raise awareness of children’s accidents in Greece, to reduce their number and severity and to improve care once an accident has occurred.
Over 30 exhibitors will be participating in the bazaar with a large variety of goods and handicrafts (jewelry, traditional sweets, handmade pasta, spice mixes, sauces, olive oil, knitted items, ceramics, clothes, accessories, natural cosmetics and more), your purchases help to support the charity.

For easier access to the estate Hertz Rent a Car have kindly provided mini buses which will be providing a shuttle service from nearby parking points to the entrance to save you a long walk. Parking attendants from Park Assist will be available to provide assistance.
Once again volunteers from Costea Geitona school will be supporting the event.

Ktima Kokotou began almost 40 years ago, when George Kokotos and his family decided to abandon city life to move to Stamata, to build their family home and to cultivate the land. Today the estate has vineyards, olive trees, a small farm and vegetable garden, a boutique winery as well as areas for events both corporate and social.
About “Pediatric Trauma Care”
Pedtrauma’s sole purpose is to raise awareness on children’s accidents in Greece, to reduce their number and severity and to improve care once an accident has occurred. Our Charity, in the last nine years, has helped 53 Hospitals/Health Centers, by creating 29 Trauma Centers, upgrading 21 Paediatric Departments and 8 Paediatric Clinics and equipping 4 Intensive Care Units / HDU, offering in total 902 machines to the Hospitals’ Paediatric Departments. We have also trained 1.641 doctors, nurses, and Ambulance Paramedics on how to help the injured children the fastest and best way possible and we have educated 46.614 children and 3.090 parents and teachers on trauma prevention. From 2010 up to the present date over 700.000 children have benefited from our Charity.
